Every year Pride Month is recognised in June as a time to celebrate LGBTQ+ communities and raise awareness of the challenges they face in gaining equal rights. These stand-out stories demonstrate some of the key obstacles LGBTQ+ people are confronting around the world, such as climate risk, state censorship, election access and criminalisation.
